EXPLORE THE WORKFLOW
01Begin with the deal, not an empty template

A contract request should explain what the business is buying or selling, the parties involved, the governing terms and the required decision date. Contract 360 is designed around that context so review effort can be matched to commercial value and risk.

  • Capture the business objective and counterparty.
  • Identify data, IP, payment and delivery dependencies.
  • Set the route for routine and exceptional requests.
02Make negotiated exceptions visible

The difficult part of review is often not spotting a clause but deciding who may accept it. A proposed review flow would distinguish legal concerns from business trade-offs and preserve the reason for a redline, fallback or escalation.

  • Compare changes against the relevant playbook.
  • Show the cost or exposure behind a deviation.
  • Send unresolved points to the named decision-maker.
03Connect approval to the final signed record

A decision on one draft should not be mistaken for approval of a later version. The intended lifecycle links approval, execution details and the final document so teams can identify what was agreed and which changes still need review.

  • Record the approver and the version reviewed.
  • Verify parties, exhibits and signature authority.
  • Retain the final agreement in an agreed location.
04Move obligations out of the PDF

Once signed, the useful questions change: who must deliver, pay, notify or report, and by when? An obligation register can connect commitments to owners and evidence, while leaving legal interpretation of ambiguous terms to a qualified reviewer.

  • Identify obligations with dates or conditions.
  • Assign an operational owner and proof of completion.
  • Escalate missed or disputed performance promptly.
05Prepare for renewal before the decision window closes

Renewal is a commercial decision informed by performance, pricing, notice rights and unresolved disputes. The proposed Contract 360 journey brings those facts together early enough for a deliberate renew, renegotiate or exit decision.

  • Check notice and auto-renewal terms.
  • Review performance and open claims.
  • Document the decision and required communication.
USEFUL TO KNOW

Before you begin.

Can Contract 360 decide whether a liability cap is acceptable?

No automated approval is represented here. The decision depends on deal value, insurance, likely exposure and the organisation’s authority rules; a reviewer and business owner should resolve the exception.

How would we handle several versions of an agreement?

The proposed workflow calls for a clear version owner, a record of material changes and confirmation that approval applies to the version actually signed. The process is agreed during implementation.

Does this include electronic signature or system integrations?

Those are intended lifecycle considerations, not confirmed live features. Any signature method or integration would need separate verification and implementation scope.

Scope and availability

Contract 360 is a product direction for contract lifecycle work. An inbox, AI redlining, approval routing, e-signature, repository, obligation alerts and integrations must be verified or separately implemented before use; this page does not offer them as live software.
