Trust & accountability

Trust is a matter of method.

Sensitive legal work needs a clear scope, appropriate people and a review path that clients can understand before an engagement begins.

Professional boundaries

LawAstra provides advocate-led legal and legal-process support. Services reserved to locally licensed professionals are undertaken only where authorised or coordinated with appropriately licensed local counsel. An enquiry alone does not establish an advocate-client relationship.

Confidentiality by matter

The existing LawAstra delivery approach includes conflict checks, matter-based access and access-controlled channels for client files. Documents are made available to the advocates and staff assigned to the engagement.

  • Confirm the people and workstream before sharing matter material.
  • Agree the permitted use of documents and the delivery channel in the engagement scope.
  • Raise any special handling or retention requirement during scoping.

Review before delivery

Work is scoped and reviewed by an advocate, with defined quality checks before delivery. For a high-volume legal-process project, the review method, escalation route and reporting should be documented for that project.

Questions an enterprise buyer can ask

Retention, subprocessors, incident response, continuity and any proposed use of AI or external tools depend on the engagement and systems actually used. Ask for the applicable arrangements in writing during procurement; this page makes no certification or universal control claim.
